Individual Counselling
By applying an integrated approach, I hope to create a pathway for clients to explore their feelings, navigate their internal dialogues, and stabilize their bodies when experiencing life transitions and intense emotions. Using breathwork, mindfulness, and body awareness clients can learn to tap into the sensations and reconnect to their bodies during moments of stress or emotional turmoil. Combining the felt-sense approach with internal parts therapy creates space for clients to nurture the parts of themselves that are struggling while supporting the nervous system through emotional waves. Clients will be empowered to embrace their emotional experiences as part of the human condition, enabling deeper healing and resilience in the face of life’s inevitable challenges.
Sex and Relationship Counselling
I am passionate about my work with relationship dynamics and couples. Using EFT and IFS techniques through a polyvagal lens, I offer services to clients who engage in alternative relationship dynamics including non-monogamy, polyamory, kink, and fetishes. My objective is to create a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can explore their desires, navigate complex emotions, and communicate effectively about their needs and boundaries. I understand the challenges - societal stigma, interpersonal conflicts, issues related to jealously or insecurity - faced by those involved in the kink and non-monogamy communities. I apply inclusive therapeutic practices, facilitating personal growth and fostering healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
Substance Use and Addictions
Personal lived experience has deepened my interest in assisting clients with their substance use concerns. I use a person-centred, trauma informed approach rooted in somatic and polyvagal therapies to help clients focus on the interplay between the nervous system, body sensations, and emotional regulation. My aim is for clients to become familiar with, and regulate their bodily responses, fostering a sense of safety and connection that is crucial for breaking the cycle of addiction. I encourage individuals to explore how their trauma and stress responses manifest physically, allowing them to develop healthier coping strategies. Ultimately, a mind-body focus not only addresses the symptoms of addiction but also illuminates a path of holistic healing, self-discovery, and the restoration of meaningful relationships.
